The Blue Hour Cinema has sat dark for two months. But when four best friends discover the town plans to demolish it at the end of August, they refuse to let it disappear without a fight—or at least one final, unforgettable night.

Yet as the summer wanes, their fight for the theater becomes entangled with the uncertain futures awaiting each of them:

• Tasha Green is keeping a life-changing secret and dreads leaving the only home she’s ever known.
• Javier Ruiz has enlisted in the Army and reports for basic training before August ends, driven by reasons he can barely bring himself to explain.
• Liam Mercer watches his world shift and quietly plans a proposal to his high-school sweetheart, desperate to anchor something in place before it’s gone.
• Ana Bennett, the only one with a year left of high school, captures it all through her camera lens while wondering what remains when everyone else moves on.

Armed with borrowed keys, an aging projector, and sheer determination, the four friends race to bring the marquee back to life. Whether they can save the cinema or only give it the farewell it deserves, they're going to make their last summer together count.
